Dharamshala


Dharamshala: The snowy Himalayan high Dhauladhar forms a picturesque backdrop Dharamshala Hill. It's the most important Kangra town, overlooking the expanse of the plains. With pine and cedar forests, numerous streams, fresh air, healthy, attractive environment and close to snow line has Dharamshala everything for the church, a wonderful holiday charm of St. John in the desert is here and it's final resting place of Lord Elgin, a British Viceroy of India during the century L9. There is also a large community of Tibetans who have made this their home. Numerous ancient temples like Jawalamukhi, Chamunda Brijeshwari and plains below Dharamshala.
